J. Paul Getty Museum
The J. Paul Getty Museum hosts an art collection, the Getty Library, Special Collections, and open content. While much of this content is open or approved for creative commons, not all of the materials are, so you will need to be careful utilizing which sources are free to use from Getty. In addition, they also have K-12 resources, Research Databases, Software and APIs, and resources for college students like internships, fellowships, and institutional grants. While not everything on Getty is open content, the open content section of the website is easy to find by going to Resources > Art and Research Collections > Open Content. There’s over 100,000 images that are free to use, including the image of Daphe and Diana pictured above.
